ECSA - EPC Club Stations Award Series
The
EPC Club Stations Award Series (ECSA) was devised by the European PSK
Club on 30th December 2007 ( Award Manager is Jose Luis Pinto Camacho
CT3EE). This was to sponsor a series of PSK awards to promote EPC club
stations activity. Any ECSA award may be claimed by any licensed radio
amateur, club station or SWL/DMS eligible under these rules who can
produce evidence of having contacted/monitored official EPC Club
Stations by using PSK modes. Contacts are valid on or after 18th
October 2006.
There are six classes of ECSA awards available
at the moment. QSL-cards are not required. Awards are issued to the
person or club. The person or club can use any legal call sign.
Contacts made from club stations or special event stations count to the
credit of both the club and the operator. All stations must be operated
in accordance with their licensing conditions. Contacts may be made
from any location in the same DXCC country. Credit will be given for
contacts made on any of the amateur bands below 440 MHz. contact is worth 2 points. A multiplier of 1 (one) is for each
different EU Area activated by the European EPC club station, or for
each different Maidenhead Grid Square (indicated by two letters and two
numbers) activated by the Non-European EPC club station. The final
score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of EU
Area and Non-European Grid Square multipliers. Each EPC club station
counts only once per each activated EU Area or Non-European Grid Square. Example of the Calculation: Worked Club Station | EU Area | Grid Square | QSO Points | | | | | CQ7EPC | PT14 | --- | 2 | CT9EPC | --- | IM12 | 2 | DKØEPC | GMØ7 | --- | 2 | MØEPC | EN17 | --- | 2 | MMØEPC | SC16 | --- | 2 | MMØEPC/mm | SC21 | --- | 2 | UPØEPC | --- | MO51 | 2 | UPØEPC/p | --- | MO5Ø | 2 | | | | | Total | 5 EU Areas | 3 DX Grid Squares | 16 Points |
Total Score: 16 x (5 + 3) = 128 Points
| | | | | | 100 Points | | 150 Points | | | | | | | | | | 200 Points | | 250 Points | | | | | | | | | | 300 Points | | 350 Points |
The
submission for credit of any altered or forged log extractions or,
equally, bad behaviour on or off the air which is judged by the
European PSK Club to bring a particular programme into disrepute may
result in disqualification of the applicant from the ECSA Award
Programme. The decision of the award manager on this and other matters
of dispute will be finals. All awards are issued
FREE of charge in a high quality PDF format and sent via email to the
applicants. Awards could be printed with the highest quality and with
optimal performance by applicants themselves. ECSA awards are issued to
the EPC members only. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate
to contact us.
Application Procedure Since 1st June 2008 all claims for the EPC awards should be made using our UltimateEPC Award Management Software
written by DK5UR. The award applicant should re-submit his application
when claiming for higher classes of awards. The award manager will keep
all your records in our database. Please make sure before you submit
your ADIF log that you have checked it with the appropriate software. |
